Split PDF
About the PDF Splitter
Extract a page range from a PDF into a new file, or break a document into one file per page — all locally in your browser with no uploads. Ideal for pulling one chapter out of a report, separating scanned pages, or sharing only the pages someone actually needs.
This tool works in your browser: the files and text you use are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop a PDF onto the upload area.
- Choose the page range (From / To), or tick "One file per page".
- Click Extract — the result downloads instantly.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting happens completely in your browser. The file is read locally, pages are copied locally, and the result is downloaded locally — nothing is transmitted or stored anywhere.
How do I extract just one page?
Set both From and To to the same page number — for example From 3, To 3 — and click Extract. You get a one-page PDF containing only that page.
Can I split a PDF into individual pages at once?
Yes — tick "One file per page" and every page in the selected range downloads as its own single-page PDF, named with the original file name plus the page number.
Does splitting reduce the quality of the pages?
No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte from the original document structure without re-rendering, so fonts, vector graphics, and images are preserved exactly.
