About the PDF Rotator
Fix sideways or upside-down PDF pages by rotating the whole document 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise — all locally in your browser with no uploads. Perfect for correcting scans that came in the wrong orientation before you print or share them.
This tool works in your browser: the files and text you use are processed on your device and are not uploaded.
How to use it
- Drop a PDF onto the upload area.
- Choose 90°, 180°, or 270° of clockwise rotation.
- Click Rotate — the corrected PDF downloads instantly.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Rotation happens entirely in your browser — the file is read locally, its pages are rotated locally, and the result is downloaded locally. Nothing is transmitted or stored anywhere.
Does it rotate every page or just one?
The tool rotates every page in the document by the angle you choose. This is the common case for fixing a scan where the whole file came in sideways.
Is the rotation permanent?
Yes. The chosen angle is written into each page’s rotation setting and saved into the new file, so it opens correctly in any PDF viewer — not just a temporary on-screen preview.
Will rotating reduce quality or change the content?
No. Rotation only updates each page’s orientation flag; the text, fonts, vectors, and images are untouched and lose no quality.
